Sr. Oracle Oracle Infrastructure Apps DBA and DBA
The primary responsibilities of a Centroid Oracle Sr. DBA are the design, build, optimization, ongoing maintenance, failure avoidance, detection and repair of the Oracle database and Oracle infrastructure technologies. As a member of the Oracle DBA team, you will be delivering Oracle infrastructure consulting services functions for a variety of Oracle database and technology stack components and applications, including Oracle e-Business Suite Apps DBA functions. Additionally, you may be responsible for the 24x7 availability of mission critical production environments, all aspects of administration for non-production environments. You will be expected to perform multiple functions, including the resolution of production problems and assisting users with issues beyond what front-line support are able to resolve.

Required Skills:
- 10+ years as an Oracle DBA and production support experience, including Oracle 10g and 11g
- 10+ years of experience with Unix and Linux operating systems
- 5-10+ years experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with Oracle EBS 11.5.10 or R12
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture
- Experienced with implementation and support of large Oracle environments and complex Oracle enterprise applications, including Oracle e-Business Suite
- Experience with backup and recovery concepts and RMAN
- Experience with Oracle RAC on Linux operating systems
- Experienced with performance problem identification and remediation
- Experience with Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills; creative thinking
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
- Ability to participate in consulting proposal initiatives
- Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member.
- BS or BA in Computer Science or Business Management
- Experience writing technical/business proposals
- Ability to identify opportunity for new business through analyzing current technical solutions and expand upon solution.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle Data Guard
- Experienced with Data Warehousing and OBIEE
- Experienced with Oracle Identity Management product suite
- OCE/OCP/OCA Certified
